I’m Michele Fortunato, a dedicated, professional trombone player with over 15 years of live performance and recording experience. My work spans a multitude of genres, from classical and orchestral masterpieces to the vibrant energy of punk, jazz, and pop. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with distinguished international artists and ensembles, continuously pushing my creative boundaries. My projects span a rich variety of popular genres. From delivering punchy punk rock vibes to weaving smooth Latin rhythms, I’ve collaborated on over 500 songs with diverse international artists. CLASSICAL & ORCHESTRAL
I’ve had the honor of playing with orchestras and working in theatrical settings, collaborating with legendary composers and directors (think Ennio Morricone-level projects). My classical roots, nurtured at Santa Cecilia Conservatory, shine through in every recording. JAZZ, BIG BAND & IMPROVISATION
With postgraduate degrees in jazz music and big band performance, improvisation has become my signature. I’ve joined forces with internationally recognized jazz artists and ensembles to create spontaneous, innovative horn lines that highlight my versatility. Whether it’s a live gig with a top jazz orchestra or a recording session that demands creativity beyond the score, my work keeps evolving with dynamic energy.
RECORDINGS
I’ve had the privilege of recording with outstanding international artists and capturing live performances at music festivals.
